What web design covers

Design is the structure that decides whether a visit turns into an inquiry.

Information architecture

Content and navigation organized around what your visitors are looking for, so they find it easily.

Conversion-focused layout

Each page is designed around one goal, such as an inquiry, a booking, or a purchase, with a clear path to it.

Mobile-first design

Every layout starts on a small screen and scales up, so mobile visitors get the full experience.

A consistent design system

Typography, color, and components reused across every page, so the site reads as one brand and grows without a redesign.

Why design with us

Design tied to a business goal

We judge every layout by whether it moves visitors toward an inquiry, a booking, or a sale, as well as by how it looks. We design for small business sites and larger platforms alike, at the scale each one needs.

The same team that builds it

What we design, we also build on WordPress, so nothing gets lost between the mockup and the live site.

Built for every device

Responsive layouts tested across desktop, tablet, and mobile, so the design holds up on every screen.

When a redesign is worth it

A redesign is worth it when the current site is not converting as well as it should, is hard to update, or no longer matches the brand. The age of the design matters less than how hard the site works for visitors and search engines.

The pages and content that already rank stay, and every old URL redirects one to one to its new address, so the site keeps the search traffic it already earned instead of starting from zero.

Designed to be usable by everyone

Screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and clear form labeling are built into our design from the start. They are what accessibility standards such as WCAG and the European Accessibility Act ask of a public-facing website, and they serve visitors with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments.

We have built accessibility considerations into tourism and healthcare websites, where a clear, usable interface reaches the widest possible audience.

How we design

Three steps, from the first workshop to a design system ready to build on.

Three steps, from the first workshop to a design system ready to build on.

  1. Brand and goal alignment

We start with your brand and the outcome each page has to deliver.

  2. Wireframes and user flow

We map the journey a visitor takes and prototype the layout around it before any visual design begins.

  3. Visual design and handoff

A responsive design system, validated across devices, ready for our own development team to build.

Selected work

A tourism website redesigned around clarity and conversion, with clearer navigation, a faster mobile experience, and a design system that scales as the site grows.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design and build the site, or only the design?

Both. The same team that designs the interface builds it on WordPress, so the design ships as it was meant to look.

Do you redesign an existing website, or only build new ones?

Both. We redesign sites that no longer convert as well as they should, on any theme or builder, and we design new sites from a blank page.

Is accessibility included, or is it a separate service?

It is part of the design. Screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and clear forms are covered on every project, in line with WCAG and the European Accessibility Act.

Will the design work on mobile?

Yes. Every layout is designed mobile-first and validated across devices before it goes into development.

Do I own the design system?

Yes. The design files and the components built from them are yours, with no lock-in to us.

How long does a redesign take?

It depends on the size of the site and the number of page templates. We set out the phases and the timeline in the proposal.

Will a redesign lose my search rankings?

No. Every old URL redirects one to one to its new address, so the pages that already rank keep the search traffic they already earned instead of starting over.

Do you work with clients outside Portugal?

Yes. Our clients are all over the world, most often in the US, Europe, and the UK. We work remotely with the same process, from offices in London, Lisbon and Funchal. Past clients based outside Portugal include Cellar62 in the US, The LR Group in Saint Barthélemy and EM Board Bombs.
