Four villas with their own names needed one site that books them directly.

The client

Madeira Villa Rentals brings together four independently run villas in Porto Moniz and Fajã da Ovelha, Calheta, on Madeira's west and north coasts: two geodesic domes and two houses, each with its own name and character. Every villa is booked directly, for stays of three nights or more.

The challenge

Each villa had to keep its own identity inside one house brand, for guests arriving from several markets, while the owner manages availability and rates in Ynnov. The site had to present every villa well, speak its guests' languages, hand bookings to Ynnov safely, and let the owner add the next villa without a developer.

What Madeira Villa Rentals needed, and what we built

The need

What we built

Present four villas, each with its own character, under one brand.

One villa template with a gallery, a film where there is one, the amenities, and a from-price per night, used for every villa.

Let guests book directly, in the owner's Ynnov booking engine.

A short form on the villa pages (dates and guests) that opens Ynnov's booking engine with those details filled in.

Reach guests from several markets.

Five languages with WPML: Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, and French. Ynnov speaks Portuguese and English, so the other three continue to it in English.

Add more villas later without a developer.

Villas are their own content type with one details panel, so a new villa needs no code change.

How we worked

  1. Designing one villa page

We designed the site and one villa detail page, drawn with Villa Domaterra I, its photos and its film, so every other villa follows the same template.

  2. Building on WordPress

We built a custom block theme with a villa post type, a location taxonomy for Porto Moniz and Calheta, and WPML in five languages.

  3. Connecting the booking engine

We linked the villas to their units in Ynnov. The site sends the guest's dates, guests, and language on to Ynnov's booking page, and the engine's API key never appears on a page.

The result

One house brand, four villas, and direct booking through Ynnov.

The villa pages lead straight into the owner's Ynnov booking engine, with the guest's dates and party size filled in.

What the site does

  • Presents four villas under one house brand, each with its own page
  • Hands bookings to Ynnov with the dates, guests, and language
  • Speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, and French
  • Loads maps only after cookie consent
  • Gives every villa its own entry in the editor, with one details panel
